ZeeBaaS SurfEdge 3.5" Knife
The SurfEdge Knife is the latest innovation from ZeeBaaS. The SurfEdge
Knife
has a cutting edge design built with ultimate quality. The ZeeBaaS SurfEdge
3.5 is a knife designed for the serious anglers. The handle,
which is the basis for the knife frame, is machined from solid aluminum
bar stock making it a one-piece machined metal body for rigidity and
strength. Open the knife blade by pressing the release button that
allows the blade to slightly swing out (~20 degrees), then use of your
thumb to push a perpendicular “thumb plate” to complete the swing of the
blade into the locked position. To close the knife, push the release
button again to unlock the blade. When the knife locked open and
in use, the “thumb plate” allows for increased downward pressure to be
applied against the cutting surface. Opposite the main blade edge and
located towards the point there is a small "cutting-notch" ground right
into the backside of the knife blade which functions as a line cutter.
Even when the knife is closed, this small "cutting-notch" can be used to
cut line. The ZeeBaaS SurfEdge 3.5 is a knife for the serious
uncompromising angler.

*Safety Notes:
ZeeBaaS strongly recommends keeping the knife in its sheath or using the
belt clip rather than keeping the knife loosely in a pocket. This will avoid
the blade release button from unintentionally being depressed and thus
releasing the blade at an unwanted time.
ZeeBaaS strongly recommends not swinging the blade open by grasping the
back of the blade. While this is a common practice with most knives it
should not be done with this blade. If you insist on doing this you will
risk being cut by the "cutting-notch" opposite the main blade. When closing
the knife, the handle should be cradled in the palm of the hand, blade side
out, then release the blade by thumbing the release button, then push on the
“thumb-plate” with your index finger to swing the blade toward the closed
position. Once in the closed position, lock the blade down by using thumb
the press the “thumb-plate” for final closure. Remember the ZeeBaaS
knife has two-blades and both demand your attention.
*This knife is not a toy. It is a serous piece of equipment for the
serious angler.
