Shimano Calcutta TE

   Shimano has made a good thing even better with the introduction of the Calcutta TE Series. TE stands for "Total Efficiency", a concept that represents the ultimate response to the two main challenges of the sport of fishing: casting and retrieving. For the cast, the Variable Braking System (VBS) allows individual set-up of brake weights so you control the amount of resistance applied to the spool during a cast. For the retrieve, High Efficiency Gearing (HEG)  give you more power and torque by using oversized drive and pinion gears.

Shimano Baitrunner

   The Shimano Baitrunner reels have earned their reputation as durable and versatile spin fishing tools. The Baitrunner feature is actually a second drag system on the rear of the reel which allows the angler to fish with an adjustable tension free spool with a closed bail, making these reels excel at live bait and chunk fishing. In order to engage the waterproof main front drag, all you need to do is turn the handle or manually flip the Baitrunner lever on the rear of the housing. The Baitrunners feature three ball bearings, aluminum spools, and graphite housings.
