Penn Mariner® Boat and Spinning Rods feature foam front and rear grips for comfort and durability, ceramic inserted guides, and hooded real seats.Constructed from solid glass blanks for durability, the Penn Mariner® is unlike typical solid-glass rods. Tapers are comparable to more expensive tubular blanks, but without the breakage issues. Weight is minimal when compared to other solid-glass rods, courtesy of some clever engineering from our rod designers, using the latest glass composite materials and construction techniques.
