A universal “Search” Bait, capable of enticing both fresh- and salt-water predators due to the BB-loaded chambers that screams “injured baitfish” to all nearby fish.  The Clatter Shad is an excellent lure when Peanut-Bunker are the predominate baitfish.  Being a “Sinker” type lure, the Clatter Shad can be fished in deeper waters by counting down the depth, or in shallower waters, provided the angler is capable of feeling the bottom with the lure, and jigging the lure upward to avoid snags.  As a “Search” bait, the Clatter Shad can be cast along channel edges to “Find” the fish.  A favorite method is also to use the Clatter shad when first arriving at the fishing grounds, working various depths with different techniques, again to “Find” the fish.
