Zap-a-Gap
is a cryanoacrylate adhesive (a.k.a. superglue) that is very
popular for many uses. It works with plastic or metal (as well
as wood, rubber, leather, etc.), can be used under or over paint, is
thicker than generic superglues (drips less and fills gaps better), and
dries quickly. Zap-a-gap is avialable in two different formulas. CA+
is the thick formula and CA is the thin formula.

U-40 offers high quality products. The U-40 Cork
Seal is thin alcohol based
product that is applied after a cork ring grip has been shaped. It seals
and toughens the surface of cork handles. The U-40 Color Lock Sealer/Preserver
is a water based product (can be easily thinned) that locks in thread color and
locks the threads to the rod. It retains superb luster. The U-40 Perma
Gloss Urethane Finish is the ultimate non-bulky one-part urethane finish for those
requiring a water-clear, non-yellowing finish that will outlast the rod
itself in durability. It is great for fly rods, light spin rods, pack rods
and in all cases where a large bulky buildup on the rod windings is not
wanted. Perma Gloss is also a fantastic finish for refinishing blanks and
coating wood reel seats. Must be used in a well ventilated area.
