International® Torque™ Lever Drag

Following the success of the International® Torque™, arguably the toughest star drag available to date and winner of the prestigious industry award “Best Saltwater Reel of 2006”, PENN is proud to announce a lever drag addition to the Torque™ family.The goal was to incorporate the benefits of a star drag reel with the functionality and fish-ability of a lever drag. After countless designs, improvements, and a brutal testing process, the International® Torque™ Lever Drag TRQ300LD is ready to meet the hardcore angler.

	Stacked Drag. Patented system of multiple stacked friction washers allow super high drag settings without reel binding. Alternate assembly of the stack yields alternate drag progressions for fishing medium or light drag settings.
	Disengaging Aluminum Spool. Spool completely disengages from all drag components for the ultimate in free spool castability.
	Integrated Ratchet. Patent pending double dog system with anti-reverse ratchet integrated into the left side plate to allow a larger and stronger ratchet system.
	Aluminum Components. The spool and side plates are forged and machined to maximize the strength to weight ratio of these components. The machined aluminum frame is open-topped for easy access to the spool for live-bait fishing.
	High Speed Heavy Duty Gears. The Torque Lever Drag Reel is equipped with a fast 6.3:1 ratio gear set for high speed retrieve. Oversized stainless steel gears allow for incredible cranking power.
	Penn Ergonomic Fighting Handle. An oversized knob and handle design provide more leverage for fish-fighting power. The Soft-Grip knob material is designed for angler comfort.
	Four Stainless Steel Ball Bearings. Four high-quality, shielded, stainless steel ball bearings are incorporated into the Torque Lever Drag Reel, not gimmicky, unshielded bearings that clog with salt buildup. High-grade shielded stainless steel bearings are better than coated, non-shielded bearings.
