Customer Service:

  Fisherman's Headquarters, Inc (FHQ) is a brick and mortar retail Bait & Tackle Pro Shop where professional sales consultants are available for product information, advice, recommendations, and other inquiries, by email or phone.  If you request an item you do not see in our online catalog, please contact us. We will attempt to Special Order any item you may need. Sorry, free shipping may not apply. Gift Certificates are available in any denomination. They can be ordered by telephone or on-line.

Ordering Methods:

  Telephone: Orders can be placed by calling during business hours 7 days a week, all year long.  During the Summer Season as well as Early Fall and Late Spring our hours are extended so you may call us earlier or later.  Please have your order details and billing information ready.

  Fax: Please complete the Fax Order Form , which can be faxed to us 24 hours a day at 609-494-9271. Please make sure all required information is clearly and completely filled out. Failure to do so will lengthen processing time and delay shipment.

  Mail: Please complete the Mail-In Order Form and mail to Fisherman’s Headquarters, Attn: Mail Order Department, 280 W. 9th Street, Ship Bottom, NJ 08008.

  On-Line: Browse our on line selection, http://www.fishermansheadquarters.com , to place orders utilizing our secure shopping cart.

Payment Methods:

  We accept the major Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for the fastest processing of your order; however, international orders will require wire transfer payment.  We also accept US Postal Service Money Orders, which allow for processing of your order upon receipt.  Personal and Certified Checks are also accepted; however, orders are not shipped until after the check clears (up to 2+ weeks).  Payments can also be made via Wire Transfer bank-to-bank. Contact us for more information on this very easy method of payment. Sorry, No CODs.

Shipping Policy (Shipping, Handling & Insurance):

  A flat shipping fee of $9.99 applies on all order under $125.  On orders to Alaska and Hawaii, the customer will be charged the actual shipping cost (less a $9.99 credit on orders of $125.00 or more) as per USPS or UPS. If you request an expedited shipment method the shipping fee will be the actual shipping cost (less a credit of $9.99 on orders over $125) as per UPS or USPS.

  We offer *FREE GROUND SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $125 with the following restrictions:  Domestic Orders:  Free ground shipping, handling, and insurance applies to all orders shipped to an address within the 48 Contiguous US (AK & HI excluded) on which the merchandise total is $125 or more.  *FREE ground shipping does not apply on packages over 108” in length (over length) or 130” in length plus girth combined (oversize). If a freight carrier can be contracted at the customer’s expense then we may be able to ship packages that are oversized.

  International Orders: All international orders are subject to a handling charge of $10.00. The customer will be charged the actual cost of shipping regardless of the order amount. All packages are sent via United States Postal Service Priority Mail International unless prior arrangements are made with the customer. Visit www.usps.com in order to obtain a rate estimate. Please contact us if you desire the United Parcel Service to be used as the carrier for international orders. Credit card payment will not be accepted on shipments that are not insurable or unable to be tracked. MOST OVERSEAS ORDER WILL REQUIRE PAYMENT VIA WIRE TRANSFER.

 

  Order Processing and Backorders: We attempt to ship all orders within one business day of receipt and strive to maintain inventory on all items in our physical and on-line catalogs at all times. If your order is for multiple items, and not all are in stock at the time of the order, we will hold shipment and ship all items together if the out of stock item(s) will be available for shipment within 10 business days. If the out of stock items will not be available for more than 10 business days, we will ship out the in stock items upon receipt of your order or learning of the delayed availability of the out of stock items (but still within 10 business days). All backorder items are held indefinitely unless we notify you otherwise or you cancel the backorders. All backorder shipments are shipped free of charge via ground shipping. In the case of a single item order from our physical or on-line catalogs (but not a special order item) that does not ship within 10 business days of receipt of the order, the item will be shipped free of charge via ground method regardless of the amount of order. On all orders $125 or over, all items will be shipped free of charge, even if done so in separate shipments. The above applies only to orders shipping to within the 48 contiguous USA. On orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and International Locations, we will contact you in the event of a backorder in order to determine what you would like us to do, as backorder shipping charges are not waived on backorders to these locations.

Note: The above “Order Processing and Backorders” statement does not apply for items that are not available in distribution due to seasonal material shortages or during the Holiday Season when demand is often beyond possible availability. Holiday orders need to be placed well in advance to have a higher assurance of delivery.

Returns & Exchanges:

 Returns & Exchanges of Undesired Merchandise: Returns of all unused merchandise are accepted on a no questions asked basis for a period of 10 days from the date of shipment provided all original tag, packaging materials and accessories are returned to us. You need not call us, simply send the package back to us at your expense, making sure to make adequate arrangements for insurance. Please enclose a copy of your invoice, your credit card information (or indicate if you paid by check or money order), and a note explaining what you are returning and the reason for return. If you desire an exchange, please also indicate the item(s) you desire in replacement. A credit for the merchandise expense will be issued upon receipt, when applicable. Shipping and other charges will not be credited.

  Defective, Damaged, or Mis-Shipped Merchandise: If you receive defective or damaged merchandise, or receive items other than those you ordered, please contact us by phone immediately upon receipt of your order. Replacement merchandise will be sent to you as soon as possible, and you will be given instructions for return of the merchandise in question. You will be given instructions so that no return shipping costs are incurred.

Warranties:

FHQ makes no warrantees.  All warrantees issues may be brought to our attention in order for guidance. We will happily assist (unlike many retail establishments who just want your sale). It is our goal to satisfy our customers to the best of our ability. We will handle the matter appropriately.  Most Manufacturer's Warrantee issues must be dealt with the company of manufacture directly.

Security & Privacy:

    So you can browse and shop with confidence we provide a safe shopping environment compliant with Payment Card Industry Standards (PCI).  Our Online Shopping Cart, Virtual Cart, by AmeriCart (the Internet's First Hosted Shopping Cart) is equipped with a digital certificate security software, VeriSign's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption and is tested daily by McAfee's ScanAlert which displays the "HackerSafe" logo. When ordering from our online shopping cart all information is encrypted before transmitting to our secure e-commerce server where it stored in its encrypted state for a brief period of time, until the order is completely processes.  The only access to the order is through our secure payment gateway which un-codes the encrypted information.  This payment process is actually more secure than real world everyday commerce, due to the encryption which make the information unusable if intercepted. 
   Your Privacy is important to us! We want you to know because you have the right to know. We collect and store the domain and host from which you access the internet, Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer, the browser and operating system, date and time as well as the website address from which you directly linked to our site.  We use this information to count the number of visitors in addition to ensuring the site is compatible and useful.  Most all of our customers are logged into our "Mail List" database (Name, Address, Phone # and email address). From time to time we might mail or email our customers with information about new products, sales discounts or services.  If you wish to opt-out from our "Mail List" please call us at the above phone number and request your name to be removed.

   Your information is only used to fulfill your order. The information we collect is solely used by FHQ. Unlike many ecommerce site, we do not sell or rent this information.  Please note that in the case of a drop ship, the manufacture will be provided the customer's shipping information (only the name, address and phone #). We do not disclose any information unless legally required to do so at the request of a government authority.
