The Team Daiwa Luna offers anglers the exclusive Free-Floating Spool and Daiwa's
Magforce®-Z automatic magnetic anti-backlash control on the 103, 203, and 253
sizes and the Centriflex® automatic centrifugal system on the 300 reel. Now, you
can fine-tune your round bait cast reel quickly and easily for any lure and
changing wind conditions. The Magforce®-Z can be adjusted from the outside of
the reel, and the Centriflex® simply by removing the easy-off side plate. Daiwa
has given anglers the convenient features previously found only on low-profile
reels in a more powerful round reel.
Maximum Strength and Dead-On Alignment
The Team Daiwa Luna frame and both side plates are machined from solid bar stock
aluminum by some of the most advanced machining equipment in the world and the
spool is cut from tough, lightweight aircraft aluminum. The drive train is
completely supported by five Super Corrosion Resistant ball bearings and one
instant anti-reverse roller bearing for smooth cranking. The precision gears are
machine cut from top grade phosphor bronze and brass for long life and plenty of
cranking power.
