AFTCO MAXFORCE (AFH-1) THE ULTIMATE STANDUP HARNESS
The AFTCO MAXFORCE is the ultimate in harness design for fighting big game
fish stand-up style. The combination of lumbar and sit-in pads distributes the
load below the hips, allowing the lower body to exert maximum pulling leverage
with superb comfort under heavy drag loads. Featured is super-comfort molded,
closed-cell EVA foam padding, with a tough, waterproof lycra polyester cover.
The liner is made from synthetic terry cloth, which not only wicks moisture, but
has enough “tooth” to keep the harness from slipping around and chafing.
Attached to the inside liner is a name and ID tag. Included is a mesh bag with
grommets for rinsing the harness with fresh water and for easy storage.
Otherwise, the AFTCO MAXFORCE Harness is completely synthetic and machine
washable. |

The AFTCO CLARION fighting belt is designed for 80-lb. to Unlimited tackle
and has a super-thick, closed-cell EVA foam back pad that is engineered to
maximize both comfort and leverage, so that when the belt is positioned
relatively low across the thighs, the load is distributed evenly for maximum
pull when fighting big fish stand-up style. Co-molded to the foam back pad is a
heavy-duty, yet lightweight gold-anodized, stamped aluminum front plate. Super
durable, it features posts at each side that accept unique Quick Clips, which
“snap” the belt straps (or optional drop staps) in place for quickly getting
into or out of the belt. Also featured is a super strong, molded glass-filled
nylon gimbal pocket that is engineered to quickly guide rod butts into an
optimum fish-fighting position. The gimbal pocket’s stainless steel pin is
adjustable for horizontal or vertical orientation. The CLARION measures 19" wide
by 13" high and is a perfect match for the AFTCO MAXFORCE HARNESS. The AFTCO

The AFTCO SOCORRO fighting belt is a smaller version of the CLARION and offer
similar advanced features, materials and comfort. Designed for use with 50-lb.
to 80-lb. tackle, and can be positioned a bit higher across the thighs for
maximum leverage. For stand-up style fishing, this is the ideal belt for
battling big strong gamefish like tuna, marlin, wahoo and big yellowtail.
Accommodating “Quick Clip” straps, the SOCORRO measures 15-1/2" wide by 10" high

The AFTCO ALIJOS fighting belt is designed for use with 20-lb. to 50-lines
and is the perfect “day belt” for stand-up tussels with sailfish, dolphin,
kingfish, small tuna, yellowtail and other smaller to medium-sized game fish.
Stamped from pure marine grade gold anodized aluminum with a super-comfortable
over-molded, closed cell polyurethane pad, the ALIJOS accommodates the same
“Quick Clip” nylon straps as the larger AFTCO fighting belts. The stainless
steel gimbal cross pin is removable, but unique is the thermal-formed nylon
liner inside the aluminum gimbal pocket that helps resist scarring. The ALIJOS
is lightweight and easy to wear, yet offers the same heavy-duty features of the
larger AFTCO fighting belts. The ALIJOS can be matched up with the AFTCO
MAXFORCE HARNESS (AFH-1). The ALIJOS is adjustable to fit waist sizes from 28”
to over 50”, and it floats!

All of AFTCO’s Fighting Belts are now constructed from thick
and durable stamped marine-grade aluminum plate with a gold anodized,
corrosion resistant finish with laser-etched AFTCO logo. The belts feature a
super- durable, co-molded, closed-cell polyethylene pad which is co-molded
right to the aluminum plate. The waterproof pad is textured to eliminate
slippage on the thighs, and vented for comfort during long stand-up battles.
The AFTCO Fighting Belts have a unique, removable gimbal pocket which allows
the versatile stainless gimbal-pin to be changed from vertical to horizontal
positions, or completely removed from the belt. The rugged gimbal pocket is
made from molded, glass-filled nylon composite, with stainless steel
fasteners. A handy Allen wrench is AFTCO'S STAND-UP FISH FIGHTING SYSTEM
(included for easy gimbal-pin changes.)
AFTCO’s exclusive attaching clips allow the 2” nylon-web belt to be
easily un- clipped at the corners of the plate or at the back of the
adjustable belt. This gives the angler or crew 3 easy ways to put the belt
on in the heat of the battle. All of the AFTCO Fighting Belts are adjustable
to fit waist sizes from 28” to over 50”, and they all float! There are
3 sizes of AFTCO Fighting Belts. The AFB-1 “Clarion” is designed for
80-130lb tackle, the AFB-2 “Socorro” is designed for 50-80lb tackle and the
AFB-3 “Alijos” is designed for 20-50lb tackle. Also AFTCO ADS-1
adjustable Drop Straps are available for all of the belts; allows any of the
AFTCO Fighting Belts to easily be attached to our AFH-1 Maxforce Fighting
Harness, for the ultimate stand-up fishing combo!
